Mary’s birthday (Apr 17) weekend was supposed to be fun for all but it didn’t turnout as we expected. The previous Thursday at work was a disaster for her and she took off Friday
so we could go to the River and she could have a facial. Friday, the person that was to do her facial didn’t return from lunch so she missed it. She also got a call from work that she
needed to be on a conference call on her day of vacation. Finally on Saturday we headed over to Diane’s cabin in Surry for her birthday dinner. About 15 people came and we had
a very good dinner on the porch with family and friends. THEN after dinner we heard a distant roar, then the wind hit and furniture, pans and bottles started blowing over. We grab
what we could and took into the cabin and listened as the wind howled outside, it was over in 8-10 minute.
